Living Well – A Cancer Support Group – will meet at 4:30, Wednesday, December 14 at Zion Lutheran Church, 439 – 3rd Avenue South, Clinton.
Elizabeth Heard, Director of Pastoral Care, The Alverno, Clinton will present Sounds of Healing.
Through the ages music has been connected to human health back. Begun in the time of the Greeks and the early Native Americans, the use of music is now being encouraged in hospitals, chemotherapy units and the homes. Heard will talk about the use of music in life and lead Christmas carols.
The group is open to all those diagnosed with cancer, spouses, family members, supporters and friends.
