Morrison Chamber of Commerce to Hold First Annual Movie in the Park Featuring Zootopia

Event Details

The Morrison Chamber of Commerce, along with our event sponsors – Co-Z Corner Inc. and Sterling Federal Bank – are pleased to announce that our first annual Movie in the Park will be held on Wednesday, July 27, at the Morrison Sports Complex, located just east of Morrison at Route 30 and Bishop Road. Enjoy the summer evening with a family friendly, animated movie – Zootopia (PG Rated) – which will begin at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.) It is sure to be a hit for the entire family!

From the largest elephant to the smallest shrew, the city of Zootopia is a mammal metropolis where various animals live and thrive. When Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law. Determined to prove herself, Judy jumps at the opportunity to solve a mysterious case. Unfortunately, that means working with Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), a wily fox who makes her job even harder.

Load up the car and bring the kids, lawn chairs and blankets, and a flashlight for a FREE evening outside at the movies. Concessions, including popcorn, will be available for purchase. Please remember that smoking is not permitted at the complex and all children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, please contact the Chamber Office at (815) 772-3757, via email to morrisonchamber@morrisonil.org or visit the Chamber’s website at www.morrisonchamber.com.
