Potato Gathering Basket– Tuesday, March 7 & 21- 5:30-9:30PM- CCC Maquoketa Center, Cost: $20- Class #180351.
Traditionally, this ribbed basket was designed for gathering and storing potatoes. It also makes a wonderful container for holding yarns or fabric. Unlike an egg basket, this basket does not have a handle hoop, instead the handles are worked into the sides. The ribs are held in place by weaving an “ear”. A materials fee of $30 is payable to the instructor at time of class.
