The Clinton Art Association’s Annual Membership Show is now on display through the Christmas season at the River Arts Center, 229-5th Ave. So., in downtown Clinton, Iowa. A reception for the artists will be held in co-ordination with the Downtown Holiday Open House from 1-4 PM on Sunday, November 20.
All exhibits are free and open to the public
Thirty one local and area artists have entered original works of art in several mediums: wood carving, oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings, calligraphy, photography, and mixed media. We welcome several artists from the area who have not previously shown work in our gallery as well as a number of professional artists whose work is outstanding. Several amateur and student artists have entered and we are happy to give them a chance to begin exhibiting their talents as well.
Our gift shop is also a preparing for the Christmas season with a number of new items, many original works by artists from the area, and Fair Trade art.
