Windmill Wednesday Treats

Event Details

This event finished on 31 August 2016

The Educators at the Windmill Cultural Center will be serving a windmill flour treat, coffee, and tea every Wednesday through August 31, 2016.   After visiting several European windmills who have a “tea time”, which is enjoyed by both locals and visitors, the educators decided that it was time to do that here in Fulton!  Volunteer mill flour bakers will be making these treats fresh every week from flour that is ground at Fulton’s de Immigrant Windmill.  Donations will be accepted for these refreshments.  Here’s what is going to be served for the rest of the summer:  June 22 – Banket, June 29 – Banana Nut Muffins, July 6 – Windmill Coffee Cake, July 13 Coffee Cake, July 20 – Mincemeat Sweet Bread, July 27 – Apple Pie Muffins, August 3 – Apple Cobbler, August 10 – Cookies, August 17 – Buckwheat Pancakes, and August 24 – Blueberry Muffins.  The Windmill Cultural Center is located at 111 10th Avenue, Fulton, IL  61252.  Please call the Tourism Office at 815-589-3925 if you have any questions
