Yale Spizzwinks Concert Series

Event Details

The Yale Spizzwinks(?) are America’s oldest underclassman a cappella group and are about to kick off their 103rd year. They feature Clinton native Noah Strausser. Noah is a 2014 Prince of Peace graduate and Clinton Showboat veteran of 6 years.
The Spizzwinks(?) perform a range of music from old standards of Frank Sinatra and Cole Porter to chart toppers of Taylor Swift and Adele and, of course classic Yale tunes – and can appeal to audiences across all ages and musical tastes. Their recent concerts in Asia, Africa, South America and across the United States have drawn sell out crowds and their fan club has grown to include Secretary of State John Kerry and Lady Gaga, both of whom they have performed for in the last year, as well as audiences at Madison Square Garden, the Forbidden City Concert Hall and the White House. The Spizzwinks(?) will perform October 20 at St. Irenaeus in Clinton at 7 pm.
On October 21 at 7 p.m. they will be at Awesometown MVP in Fulton, IL. They will perform a matinee at Zion Lutheran Church October 22 at 2 pm. Prices for the two 7 pm performances are $15 apiece.  Prices for the 2 pm performance at Zion are $10 apiece. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at spizzwinks.com.
