CHS Band Boosters Finances Under Review

A financial investigation is being conducted on the Clinton High School Band Boosters organization. ‘Read more’ for details on this story confirmed by KROS NEWS. Warren Jenkins at the State Auditor’s office confirmed for KR0S NEWS that the agency had been asked to look at some information from the boosters organization and was reviewing the information. He declined to comment further about the review.

Clinton School Superintendent Deb Olson said the Band Boosters finances and not held under the school district and is funded outside the jurisdiction of the district. Olson told K-R-O-S NEWS the district had been informed of the investigation by the Band Boosters since it had an impact on students,
The Superintendent said she had no further comment on this case since is is not under school district jurisdiction and is under investigation.

The Band is currently on a band trip to Colorado and Band Director Joshua Hahn has not been available for comment.
