Tentative schedule of governmental meetings (links to agendas included)

Clinton County Board, Clinton City Council & Camanche City Council to meet this week. The Fulton, IL city council has been added to the scheduleThe Clinton County Board will consider a step towards forming a Public Safety Authority. The Justice Coordinating Commission is considering the formation of the authority as part of the process of seeking support for a new law center. The Board will consider retaining outside legal counsel to form the authority.
The Supervisors will also receive an update on the Clinton County Courthouse fourth floor storage that has been an issue regarding the paperwork of the court documents.
The Board will meet at 9:15 Monday morning.

The Fulton, Illinois city council meets at 5:30 Monday evening.

The council will consider action to show a willingness to sell property the city owns to a developer for housing.  The council will also discuss changes to the entry at City Hall and the old Chamber office for great security and efficiency.

The Clinton City Council will hear about another proposed apartment complex development.
The developer is proposing 48 units on the old St. Patrick’s site on 4th Avenue.
The developer will outline the plans at the council’s committee of the whole session Tuesday.
The council will also review proposed changes in the calendar parking ordinance. The major change is to make the parking rules ‘event’ based an only in effect during snowfall events.

The council meets on Tuesday at 7 P-M at city hall.

The Camanche City Council meets on Tuesday.
The council will consider a couple of issues involving Garner Hall. The city has moved city operations into a new building and is reviewing what to do with the former city hall center.
The council will review any deed restrictions for the facility. The Camanche council will also consider a proposal from the Mississippi Valley Paranormal to examine Garner Hall.
The Camanche City Council meets on 6 P-M on Tuesday.
