Tentative Schedule of governmental meetings

The County Board, Clinton City Council & Clinton School Board scheduled to meet this week-‘read more details with links to agenda materials.The Clinton County Board has their regular Monday morning business session. They will start that at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.
Among the items for discussion is the Supervisor’s policy for establishing their meeting agendas.

The Clinton School Board meets on Monday evening in a business session.
The board is scheduled to hear the latest on the enrollment for the school year. The board will also consider a sharing agreement with the Prince Of Peace Schools for football for the next school year and for the school year starting in 2017.
The school board meeting is at 5:30 at the school’s Administrative Center.

Tuesday is the regular meeting of the Clinton City Council.
On the business agenda the council will consider formal approval of chance in the calendar parking rules to make it ‘event based.’

During the Committee Of The Whole Agenda the council will hear about a revised agreement for a broker to help market and sell the railport industrial park. Mayor Mark Vulich vetoed the initial approval of the deal with the N-A-I Ruhl Real Estate Firm citing several concerns. There are also updates on a couple of proposed developments for residential housing.

The council meeting will start at 7 o’clock Tuesday evening.

The Central DeWitt School Board meets on Wednesday in a business session. The board will hear an update on enrollment during the meeting. A second reading of the actions to formally change the name of the district will be considered. The name of the district would be changed to the Central DeWitt School District from Central Clinton County.

The City Capital Improvement Committee will start their process of meetings this week. The panel will meet on Thursday afternoon at 4 o’clock. The panel will review projects that have been added to the list and those that have been removed and what the next steps for the panel should be.

The Clinton County Justice Coordinating Commission is also scheduled to meet on Thursday. The Commission is working on plans and proposals for a new law center.
