Clinton Police are investigating a reported armed robbery on Sunday night.
Police report that at about 8:30 on Sunday night the Clinton Police and Fire Departments responded to 3242 McKinley to a report of a robbery.
Police describe the case as 20 year old Patricia Anderson of the 3242 McKinley address reported that four or five armed males entered the residence and put a gun to her head. During the incident, police reports state- 61 year old Harrison Guy of the same address heard the disturbance, armed himself and attempted to aid Anderson. Police report he was assaulted and his handgun was taken.
The intruders fled the scene and police were called. Guy was transported by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center for treatment of injuries he sustained during the assault.
