Snowfall totals

Sunday’s snowfall total was 2.5 inches according to Clinton area official weather observer Jim Blaess. ‘Read more’ for more snowfall details. 

He says that brings the snow season or the November thru February period to 14.7 inches of snow.  The normal snow during the period is 27.4 inches.  Blaess says last year during the snow season there was 31.6 inches.

During the period-Blaess says in November there was 7 inches of snow – in December there was 3.1 inches – in January 1.4 inches of snow and so far in February there’s been 3.2 inches of snow.

While it can change with any more snow, Blaess says the 14.7 inches snow so far makes this winter season the 9th least snowiest since the 1887 – 1888 winter.
