Clinton Police issue statement on robbery investigation

Clinton Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Clinton home last night (Thursday).  Officers were called to 803 4th Avenue South at about 7 P-M in reference to a robbery.

The victim told police that two individuals, who were armed with handguns, entered his residence and discharged a gun while inside the home and then fled the home following the robbery.

Officers were able to confirm that a gun had been fired inside the home.  There were no injuries.

The suspects have not been located, but Clinton Police have issued descriptions of the suspects.

One suspect is described as a 35 to 40 year old black male with a thin build and last seen wearing a dark colored baseball cap.  The other suspect is described as a black male in his late teens-or early 20’s with a thin build and short braided hair and wearing a dark hoodie.
