A Clinton man’s appeal for a reduced sentence has been rejected by the Iowa Appeals Court.
John Mark’s sought the reduced sentence regarding his guilty plea to a felon in possession of a firearms charge.
He was sentenced to a prison term not to exceed five years in the case if 2015.
Marks claimed the district court errored in the sentencing. The Appeals court supported the district court’s actions.
