Tentative Schedule of Governmental Meetings This Week

The Clinton County Board has their regular Monday morning business session.  They will gavel the session into order at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

Among the agenda items is consideration of incentives for the Home Base Iowa Program designed to encourage retired military personnel to live in the area.

The Fulton City Council meets tonight (Monday) in a regular business session.

The meeting is at 5:30 at the Fulton City Hall.

The Clinton City Council will be meeting Tuesday.

There is a special business meeting planned to set a public hearing on improvements for work on the riverfront for a landing dock area for excursion boats such as the American Queen.

A second resolution is supporting the apartment complex development on the west edge of town which will allow the developer to apply for Workforce Housing Tax Credits.

During a Committee Of The Whole session the council will about the audit for the 2015 budget year.

The council will also hear about a social host law aimed at reducing underage drinking.

The Camanche City Council meets on Tuesday.

Water and garbage rates are on the agenda for discussion.

The Camanche Council will also consider a proposal to sell Lum Park.
