Tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week

Links are included for the agenda & materials for the Board of Supervisors, Clinton School Board, Clinton City Council and Northeast School Board meetings.

The Clinton County Board meets in a regular Monday morning session. The Supervisors will hear an update on a solar energy project and an update on the jail construction project.

The meeting starts at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

The Clinton School Board has a Committee Of The Whole Session today (Monday).

The Board will hear from the Clinton High School staff about the various Honors Programs at the school.

The meeting is at 5:30 at the School’s Administrative Center.

The Clinton City Council meets Tuesday in a business and discussion session.

During the business meeting the council will consider banning large trucks from the new 19th Avenue North extension.

During the Committee Of The Whole session the council will hear an update on the conversion of the Wilson Building into downtown apartments.  The council will also consider changes that would allow chickens on certain urban properties.

After those sessions the council plans a separate meeting for the performance review of City Administrator Jessica Kinser.  That is expected to be a closed session.


 

The Northeast School Board is scheduled to meet on Wednesday.

Among the business items is consideration of approving having a therapy dog at the Northeast Elementary Building.

The meeting will be August 24th at 6 P-M at the Northeast School’s Elementary Library.
