Clinton High School Homecoming Parade & Restricted Parking

Date of Parade:09/29/16

Starting Time of Parade:  5:30 P.M.

The Clinton High School Homecoming Parade will be held on September 29th, 2016, beginning at 5:30 p.m.  The parade will start in the 700 block of S. 9th Street, travel north on 9th Street to 5th Avenue South.  The parade will turn east onto 5th Avenue South and continue on 5th Avenue South until 3rd Street.  The parade will turn north onto 3rd Street and disband at the intersection of 4th Avenue South and 3rd Street.  The 300 block of 5th Avenue South will be designated as the handicapped parking and viewing area for the parade.

Restricted Parking

There will be no parking permitted along the parade route, between 3p.m. and 6p.m., which will include the following streets:

·  S. 9th Street:     From 5th Avenue South to 8th Avenue South

·  5th Ave So:       From 9th Street to 4th Street

·   3rd Street:         From 4th Ave So to 5th Ave So

·        5th Ave So:      From 3rd St. to 4th St. will be for Handicapped Parking/Viewing Only

The parade route will be posted with no parking signs on the morning of the parade by 9:00 a.m. The Clinton Police Department will begin enforcement of the parade route parking restrictions at 3:00 p.m. on September 29th, any vehicles parked along the parade route will subject to ticket and tow.
