Tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week

The Clinton County Board and Clinton City Council on the tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week.

The Clinton County Board has a regular Monday morning business session.

The Supervisors will consider approval of an agreement with the city of Clinton for the county use of the parking lot by the ballpark during construction of the new jail and law center.

The meeting starts at 9:15 at the county administration building.

The Clinton City Council meets in a Committee Of The Whole session Tuesday.

The council will begin discussions on the process to replace City Administrator Jessica Kinser.  She is leaving to take the Administrator post in Marshalltown.

There is a proposal to provide an interim administrator and lead the process from a search on the agenda.

The council will also review garbage pickup billing and sewer billing.

The meeting is Tuesday at city hall.
