Local unemployment Rates

With more people considered employed – the local unemployment rates dropped in September.

The Iowa Workforce Development report shows the Clinton County unemployment rate in September was 5.2 percent.  That;s down from August’s rate of 6.1 percent.

In September 2015 the unemployment rate was 4-point-4 percent.

In the Clinton the unemployment rate in September was 5.4 percent and that’s down from 6.7 percent in August.

In both the city and county the report shows more people considered working as a part of the drop.
