Bomb Threat at local business

The Clinton 8 movie theaters were evacuated last night due to a bomb threat.  Clinton police were dispatched to the theaters at 9:02 on the possible bomb scare.

Police said that when the 911 call was made the employees at the theater were instructed to evacuate the building.

The Police were the first units on the scene followed by the Fire Department and Emergency Management.  Police noted that the 7o to 75 patrons in the theater had been evacuated by the time emergency personnel arrived.  Emergency personnel said the theater employees did a great job with the evacuation in a safe and timely manner.  There were NO injuries to the public.

The theaters were searched and the all clear was given at about 10:16.

The Clinton Police Department is in charge of the investigation.
