Record High Temperature Today

A new record high temperature was set today.  Clinton weather observer Jim Blaess says it reached 75 degrees this afternoon (Thursday) which broke the record for the date of 74 set in 1941

Blaess says the highest record in November was November 19th 1930 when it was 79 degrees.

The weather observer pointed out that last year there was a snow storm that started on November 20th and ended on the 21st with 7 inches of snow-the third highest snowfall in a 24 hour period in a November in records to 1898.
