Clinton City Council to consider candidates for vacancy

There are six people who want to be considered for the Clinton City Council At-Large seat vacancy.

The vacancy was created with the resignation of Tom Determann who was elected to the Clinton County Board and started that term this month.

The council set Thursday as the deadline for those interested in filling the term that would be ‘up’ for election in November.

Those submitting applications by the deadline include

Scott Bengston

Jennifer Graf

James Klaes

Michael J. Kearney

Seth Odor

William (Bill) Schemers

The council is expected to consider the vacancy at their meeting next Wednesday.  They may interview the candidates at that meeting.
