How much rain came on Sunday

Sunday’s rain totaled .88 of an inch according to Clinton area official weather observer Jim Blaess.

He says that rain brought the month’s total so far to about 1.22 inches of precipitation.  The average for the entire month is 2.9 inches.

Blaess says the precipitation total for the year-to-date today is 4.99 inches which is three inches below the average through the end of April.

The high on Saturday was 80 degrees, which Blaess says was not a record for the date. He says the record high for April 12th is 85 set in 2006
