Meetings this week

The Clinton City Council starts a new meeting process this week with an additional discussion session and dropping the committee structure.  Check the tentative meeting schedule here.

The Clinton County Board has their regular Monday morning business session. The Supervisors will start at 9 A-M reviewing correspondence and claims and start the business items at 9:15.

Monday is also the meeting day for the Fulton, Illinois city council. The session starts at 5:30 at city hall.
The council will hear a presentation on strategic planning as part of the meeting.

On Tuesday the Clinton City Council will start a new meeting process with a committee of the whole session on the first Tuesday of each month and dropping the standing committee structure. All items will go before the full council for discussion instead of first being discussed at the committee level.
The council has a list of items to discuss including the 2015 fiscal year health insurance renewal, an update from the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, an update on the downtown alliance, a proposed sidewalk café ordinance, calendar parking and the city attorney ordinance updates plus an update on the strategic plan.
The session will start at 7 P-M on Tuesday.

Tuesday is also the meeting day for the Camanche City Council. The meeting will be at 6 P-M at Camanche City Hall.
The council will consider an entry sign to the community at the old roller rink site and the plans for the new city hall in the former pharmacy building. The council will also consider the annual contribution to Camanche Days.

The Clinton County Area Solid Waste Agency Board meets on Thursday. The meeting will start at 6:30 agency’s recycling center.
General updates on single stream recycling, recycling glass and general recycling are part of the reports to the board.
