Meetings this week-

The Camanche School Board, Riverbend School Board and Fulton City Council are among the governmental bodies meeting this week-check the tentative schedule here-

The Camanche School board has a regular business meeting on Monday-June 16th at 7:30 at the Administrative Center.

The board will review student achievement scores at the meeting.  Among the personnel actions is the resignation of head varsity football coach Bob Matthys who was hired last month.

The Riverbend School Board meets on Monday in a regular business session.  The meeting will be at 6:30 pm at the District Office in Fulton, Illinois.

Among the actions under consideration will a resolution to ask for a vote a county wide sales tax for school on the November ballot.

The Riverbend School Board has a couple of other meetings during the week

On Monday the 16th the buildings and grounds committee of the board will meet to review facility needs and maintenance.  That meeting is at 8 A-M at the District Office.

The Board’s negotiation committee will meet on the 17th  in a closed session involving a personnel matter.

The Chamber Of Commerce will be a topic for the Fulton, Illinois City Council when they meet on Monday evening at 5:30.

The Director of the Chamber, Heather Bennett recently resigned. On the agenda is an address by the Chamber and a recommendation on the Tourism and Chamber Executive Director Position.

The Clinton Traffic Study Commission will discuss the speed limit on Manufacturing Drive from South 19th Street to Highway 30 when they meet Tuesday at 4:45 at Clinton City Hall.

The Clinton School Board has a work session scheduled for Tuesday this week.

Discussing a strategic plan is among the main items for the meeting.

The session will start at 5 P-M at the school’s Administration Center

The Clinton County Board has a couple of meetings this week.

The Supervisors will meet on Tuesday the 17th for planning for negotiations.

On Wednesday the 18th Board will have a business meeting.  It will be held at 8 A-M the Delmar at Grossman Hall.
