Tentative schedule of meetings this week

The Clinton City Council has a business meeting & a special meeting this week plus the Camanche School Board and Fulton City Council have meetings-check out the tentative schedule here

Monday – the 21st is the regular meeting of the Clinton County Board. The Supervisors will be meeting at
9 A-M to review bills and correspondence and start the business portion of the meeting at 9:15.

On Monday the Camanche School Board will hold a regular business meeting.
Among the personnel actions is the hiring of Eric Ridder as the head football coach. This follows the hiring of a coach a couple of months ago, but he resigned after reconsidering the position.

Monday is also the meeting day for the Riverbend School Board. They will be meeting at 6:390 at the Riverbend District Office in Fulton, Illinois.
Among the reports for the Superintendent is an update on potential families moving to the district related to staffing at the Thomson prison.

The Fulton City Council is meeting on Monday night. The council will consider several actions involving the chamber and tourism activities of the city. The actions include a city-chamber partnership – and a separate consideration to create a tourism/community service director position. The Fulton Council will also consider a hiring freeze until April 30, 2015.
The meeting is at 5:30 at the Fulton City Hall.

The Clinton City Council has a business meeting and a Committee Of The Whole Session on Tuesday.
On the business agenda is a scheduled discussion about pending or imminent litigation. The discussion may be closed.
Also on the agenda is an evaluation of the City Administrator. That session may also be closed.

On the Committee of the Whole agenda is a discussion about the request to rename Liberty Avenue in honor of veterans. The Council will discuss a large item pickup program for the fall.

A special session of the Clinton City Council is planned for Wednesday with the topic of the railport. The council will discuss a number of issues involving the industrial development area including options for providing water service to the area.
That special session is at 1:30 at the City Hall council chambers.
