Meth arrests in Camanche (mugshots included)

Two Clinton men are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Camanche Police Department along with assistant from the Camanche Fire Department, Clinton Police Department, Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, and Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement arrested 53 year old Scott James Maydew and 47 year old Albert Daniel Hansen in the 500 block of 4th Avenue, Camanche for manufacturing methamphetamine.

On August 20th shortly after midnight officers from the Camanche Police Department responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 500 block of 4th Avenue. After a subsequent search warrant was executed officers seized several items consistent with a one-pot meth lab including table salt, an HCL generator, a one-pot lab, two containers that contained a white residue that tested positive for meth, and coffee filters that contained a white residue.
