Tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week

The County Board, Clinton School Board & Clinton City Council will be meeting this week.

The Clinton County Board has their regular meeting on Monday morning. The business portion of the session will start at 9:15.
Among the items on the agenda is a discussion scheduled with Wayne Bott about global warming. That will be held at 9:20.
The meeting will be at the County Administration Building.

Monday is the regular business meeting of the Clinton School Board. It is the re-organizational meeting and the board will elect the president of the board for the next year.
The board will hear about the certified enrollment for this school in one of the reports.
The meeting is at 5:30 at the Administration Building.

A business meeting and a discussion session will be held on Tuesday by the Clinton City Council.
During the business meeting the council will consider formal approval of some items that were approved at the recent Committee Of The Whole Session.
One of those items an approval of a large item pickup program by a private firm-Determann Asphalt. The cost would not exceed 40-thousand dollars and the city will not offer future large item pickup events.
The council will also consider holding a closed session to discuss pending or imminent legal action.
During the discussion session the council will continue consideration of the solid waste fund and associated fees.
The meeting is Tuesday at 7 P-M at city hall.

The Riverbend School Board’s Policy Committee meets on Thursday to review series of policy updates.

On Friday morning the Central Community School Board will meet at the Administration Center in DeWitt and tour the district’s facilities.
