New 13th Avenue North & North 11th Street traffic light update

The traffic signals at 13th Avenue North and North 11th Street will be fully operational beginning Wednesday, November 5, at 9:00 a.m.  Read more about the new lights and operation & there’s link to further details.

In order to allow for more left turns, there are flashing yellow arrows on the north bound and south bound lanes of North 11th Street. The meaning of a flashing yellow left-turn arrow is simple: be cautious, and after yielding to oncoming traffic and pedestrians, make your left turn.

After it flashes, the flashing yellow left-turn arrow will then become a steady yellow left-turn arrow. The steady yellow left-turn arrow means what it has always meant: stop, if you can do so safely.
