Holiday closings

The holiday means the closing of some government offices

Clinton City Hall will be closed Wednesday – Thursday and Friday this week for the Christmas holiday period.
Garbage pickup will be on a regular schedule Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The Thursday and Friday routes will be picked up on Friday.

Next week City Hall will be closed on Wednesday-and New Year’s Day on Thursday and open on Friday.

Camanche City Hall will be closed starting at noon on December 24th and will re-open on Monday-December 29th at 8 A-M.

Clinton County Offices will be closing at 1 o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday December 24th and will be closed on December 25th and 26th.

The next scheduled meeting of the Clinton County Board of Supervisors will be held on December 30th
at 9:15 A-M.

Clinton County Offices will also be closed on New Year’s Day.

After the first of year the County Board will be changing their regular meeting day. The regular meetings are being moved to Tuesday morning – instead of the Monday meeting day that has been used for several years. The sessions will start at 9:15 A-M and the Tuesday schedule will be used until further notice.


Other local, state and federal government operations will also be observing various holiday closings and hours

CCASWA’s facilities will close at noon on Wednesday, December 24th, 2014 in observance of Christmas Eve. The Agency will be closed all day on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25th, 2014. Normal hours (Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM & Saturday 7:30 AM-NOON) will resume Friday, December 26th.

CCASWA’s facilities will close at noon on Wednesday, December 31st, 2014 in observance of New Year’s Eve. CCASWA will close all day on New Year’s Day, Thursday, January 1st, 2015. Normal hours (Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM & Saturday 7:30 AM-NOON) will resume Friday, January 2nd, 2015.
