Clinton City Council will have to decide the next step in whether there will a large item pickup

There was no interest by private companies to conduct a large item pickup program in Clinton.  City leaders chose to send out request-for-proposals to conduct what had been a city service.

Clinton City Attorney Jeff Farwell said the city sent the R-F-P to eight companies in the Clinton and quad cities area that would have had the requisite experience and equipment to complete the job

City Administrator Jessica Kinser said no proposals were submitted by the deadline.

Kinser has informed council members about the lack of response and the issue will be considered at A future council meeting.
