You heard us mention this in the School Notebook Show-here is the story & picture plus a link to the surveys you heard discussed

Pictured is CHS Student, Alayna Geronzin, who developed a community involvement project as part of a scholarship application. She reached out to the elementary schools to get younger children involved. Her project was to produce Valentine’s Day cards for individuals who are part of the Meals-On-Wheels. Many people who benefit from this program are house-bound and have little interaction with people on a day-to-day basis. Alayna was able to collect 1111 Valentine’s Day cards that will be distributed in the coming week. She said that during the time of completing her project, it became less about the scholarship application and more about showing younger kids how simple actions can make a big impact on others. Alayna is a great example of a Clinton High School Student taking initiative and designing a project which gives back to our community while being a positive role-model to others!
