Local median income data & poverty data

Local median income is up from 2012 to 2013.  Link to data is included.

The median household income in Clinton County increased more than two thousand dollars from 2012 to 2013-according to the latest updates from the U-S Census Bureau.
The report-just added to the State Data website – shows a median household income in 2013 of 49-thousand*702 dollars and that’s up from the 2012 figure of 46-thousand*217.

The statewide median household income was 52-thousand*286 dollars. That was an increase from just under 51-thousand dollars in 2012.
The percentage of people considered living in poverty in Clinton County in 2013 was just under 14-percent. That was a drop from 15-and-a-half percent on 2012.
For those between the ages of 5 and 17 years old the percentage living in poverty was 18-percent.
