Trial update: City budgeted for higher rate on ambulance calls

Testimony is continuing in the case of the city sueing the attorney who represented the city and urged a settlement in a whistle blower lawsuit over Medicare and Medicaid ambulance billing.

The suit, filed by former fire fighter Timothy Schultheis claimed the department was improperly billing the agencies to get higher reimbursements.   The case is entering its second week in Scott County court in a change of venue from Clinton County.
