Fire Dept. responds to Molded Fiber plant call

Welding work is cited as the cause of a fire on the roof of the Molded Fiber plant at 1321 Windsor Drive. The Clinton Fire Department was called to the plant about 4 o’clock Thursday afternoon for a ‘fire on the roof.’

River Rescue

Two people were rescued from the Mississippi last evening after deciding to go swimming.  The Clinton Fire Department responded to the call about 7:25 last evening to the report of two people in the river around Willow Island, off the bike path on the levee.
