A 17 year old male fell 80 feet over the bluff at Eagle Point Park yesterday afternoon.

The Clinton Fire Department was called about 5:30 n the report of the person falling over the bluff.  The victim was located along the railroad tracks by the spillway.

Boating accident on the Mississippi River near the Clinton Marina

A collision between two boats in the Mississippi River Saturday night near the Clinton marina closed the river while emergency crews checked the scene. The eight people involved were moved to another private boat by the time emergency crews arrived and were brought to shore and checked by Clinton Fire Department Paramedics and one was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Fire Dept. responds to Molded Fiber plant call

Welding work is cited as the cause of a fire on the roof of the Molded Fiber plant at 1321 Windsor Drive. The Clinton Fire Department was called to the plant about 4 o’clock Thursday afternoon for a ‘fire on the roof.’
