The search for a new Clinton City Attorney continues and interviews are scheduled for the last week of the month.
A search has been underway since the resignation of Paul Walter late last year.
On the FYI Program on KROS Clinton Mayor Rodger Holm said there have been a number of applicants and the search committee narrowed the list down to six for a for a follow-up questionnaire.
Those questionaires are due back February 19th.
The field will then be picked to come to town for interviews. When the finalists are selected to bring in for interviews-those names will be made public according to the Mayor.
Council memberes Mike Kearney, Mark Vulich and Charles Mulholland were asked to serve as the search committee to lead the process.
Local attorney David Pillars has been working as the interim city attorney.
