The Vince Jetter Community Center is hosting a community baby shower on Saturday, April 27 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Journey Church, 1010 13th Avenue North, Clinton. The event is free and open to new and expecting families, caregivers, grandparents and all who are a part of preparing for a baby’s arrival.
Donations of baby blankets and diapers are being accepted now at various locations in Clinton, including Grandma’s Goody Jar, Beyond Faded Barber Shop, Renaissance Resale Boutique, Deanna’s Java 13th Avenue North, 392 caffe and Rivals Sports.
Several community businesses and agencies will provide information tables with door prizes, handouts, and giveaways at the shower. Attendees will gain insight about infant and child health, growth and development and receive tremendous resources.
Anyone wishing to send monetary donations to assist with the community baby shower may do so by sending checks payable to the Vince Jetter Community Center, PO Box 66, Clinton, IA 52732.
