Clinton School Board to consider contract with CEA at a meeting this week. The Camanche & Riverbend School Board also meet this week- ‘read more’ for details. A contract with the Clinton teachers is on the agenda for consideration by the school board at a meeting on Monday. The contract is for a 2-point-37 percent package increase with the Clinton Education Association. According to materials for the meeting the C-E-A has approved the proposal.
The meeting will be 5:30 at the Administrative Center.
Also on the agenda is a presentation from the Clinton Fine Arts Association on the future of their fundraising efforts for a performance theater at the Clinton Middle School.

The Camanche School Board is meeting on Monday. The session is at 7:30 at the Camanche School’s Administrative Center.
The board will consider a contract with Camanche Physical Therapy for athletic training services for the next school year. The Camanche School Board will also consider establishing a junior high softball program for the summer of 2016.

The Riverbend School Board is meeting on Monday at 6:30 at the District Office in Fulton.
The River Bend Board Citizen Advisory Committee will meet on May 18, at 4:30 P.M., at the River Bend District Office located at 1110 3rd Street, Fulton, IL. The purpose of this Board committee meeting is a structured way for individual citizens and stakeholders to share their opinions and perspectives, study issues, and develop recommendations in a focused small group environment. Among the topics for the group on Monday is a technology update, traffic flow around the Fulton Elementary School and consideration of a print or electronic district event calendar.
Also the district Finance Committee will meet on May 18 at 5:30 P.M., at the River Bend District Office. The purpose of this Board committee meeting will be to discuss district finance.

The Fulton, Illinois City Council meets on Monday at 5:30 at city hall. The council will consider approving some rules to allow alcohol on public property during sanctioned and approved events and rules to apply to alcohol sale and consumption at those events.

The Clinton County Board meets in a regular Tuesday morning business session.
The Supervisors will consider a budget options with recent payment from the city to the county for land sales at the railport industrial park. The county is to receive a portion of the land sales at the industrial park for a repayment of a loan to the city to help develop the area.
