The City of Clinton has a new presence on-line. A new city website is now ‘live.’
The city hired a firm last fall to develop a new web site and that site was unveiled at city hall Friday afternoon,
City Administrator Jessica Kinser says the site will include a way for citizen’s to pay some city bills and information pages for each department. Kinser said there is also a page for agendas and meeting information. Plus, she said there is a section where citizens can report a pothole in city streets.
Kinser believes the new web page will be a benefit to the city and citizens. She said she hopes the citizens find it as useful as the city has.
The City Administrator says there was an investment of about 22-thousand dollars to develop the new website and a commitment by the city and that commitment must continue by the city..
Kinser says there is a section of videos showing the positive aspects of living and working in Clinton that has been supported by many local businesses.
Chamber of Commerce Executive Nathan Sondgeroth and Development Corporation Board President Rich Phelan praised the city’s site and said it’s something that will help them in promoting the city.
