Through the first half of the month, Clinton area weather observer Jim Blaess has recorded six inches of rain. ‘Read more for rain fall statistics.
Blaess says normal rain for the month is 4.6 inches.
With the rain so far this month, Blaess says the year-to-date precipitation is just over 18 inches (18.11) and is more than an inch above normal (16.91) for the entire six month months.
The Clinton area weather observer says last June there was about 8-and-a-third (8.34) inches of rain.
The most rain in June occurred in 1990 when the rainfall was 14.63 inches.
