The Clinton School Board also learned that the first phase of a new public input process has been released. ‘Read more’ for what people think about the district and a link to the report.
The District contracted a firm called ‘Thoughtexchange’ to use a social media platform to gather input on the district.
Superintendent Deb Olson said the first survey results have been released. She the results “were very positive, the concerns were very warranted that were there.
The surveys are open to anyone in the community and 413 people took part in the first survey of thoughts about the school district. 54 percent of those were parents or guardians – 39 percent were staff and 6 percent were community members.
Olson said they “appreciated everybody that took the time to be a part of the conversation.
They identified top areas of appreciation as quality teachers and staff, school environment and improvements to facilities.
Areas for improvements focused on student behavior, finances and large class sizes.
