Tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week (links to agendas included)

The Clinton County Board, Camanche School Board, Camanche City Council, Riverbend School Board plus Fulton City Council among the governmental meetings on the tentative schedule this week.

The Clinton County Board has their regular Monday morning session.

The Supervisors will hear about Home Base Iowa incentives from a representative of the state program designed to encourage those leaving military service to move to the area.  The County Board has led the effort to get other governmental units to offer those incentives under a county-wide umbrella.

The County Board meets at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

The Camanche School Board meets Monday evening.  Among the actions is a financial package settlements with the Education Association and other groups.

The meeting will be at the school’s Administrative Center at 7:30.

The Fulton City Council also meets Monday evening.  The session starts at 5:30 at the city hall.

The council will open bids for two city owned residential lots in the Heritage Residential Subdivision.

A discussion is scheduled on the topic of whether to amend the number of available liquor licenses in the community.  No action is planned on that topic.

The Riverbend School Board meets on Monday evening.

The Camanche City Council is scheduled to formally accept the retirement of City Administrator Tom Roth.  That retirement would be effective September 30th of this year.

The Camanche Council will also consider incentives as part of the Home Base Iowa program designed to encourage people leaving the military to move to the area.

The Camanche City Council meets at 6 P-M at the Camanche City Hall on Tuesday.

The Clinton School Board has a special meeting on Wednesday.  The session at 5 P-M will be a work session on long range financial planning.

The meeting will be at the school’s Administrative Center.
