A Clinton School District teacher is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 15 year old student. ‘Read more’ for details including the complete criminal complaint.
Clinton Police issued the arrest warrant in the case with the assistance of the Fulton, Illinois Police Department.
40 year old Christopher J. Nielsen was arrested for Sexual Abuse-3rd Degree. He was arrested on Friday and held in the Whiteside County Jail until Nielsen waved extradition and was transferred to the Clinton County Jail today (Monday).
The criminal complaint details the investigation after the parents of the 15 year old student went to police with concerns about the uncomfortable relationship their daughter had with Nielsen.
