Tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week

The County Board, School Board and City Council meet this week.

The Clinton County Board has their regular Monday morning business session.

The Supervisors will discuss the city’s request to be able to place a sewer pump station on the County Courthouse grounds.  They will also get an update on the 19th Avenue North project that runs by the Administration Building.

The meeting will start at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

The Clinton School Board meets today in a business session.

There will be a special Open House from 5 to 5:30 at the Administration Building to honor employees for their service form 20 – 25 – 30 and 35 years.

Those employees will also be recognized at the business meeting at starts at 5:30.

Among the items for discussion is the certified enrollment report from the district.

The Clinton City Council meets on Tuesday.

During the business session the council will consider formal approval of a deal with a search firm to help find a new city administrator and a member of the firm will also serve as an interim administrator during the search process.

During the Committee Of The Whole session the council will discuss changes in the plans for a docking are for the American Queen and other river excursion boats.  The council will also look at a plan from the Neighborhood Improvement Committee to designate some areas of town for property owners to get some tax aid for rehabilitation work on homes.

The meeting starts at 7 pm Tuesday at city hall.


 

The Camanche City Council will continue the process to hire a new city administrator.  On Tuesday the council the three finalists for the post and there will be a ‘meet and greet’ with the candidates from 5 to 8 pm at the Fire Station.
