Tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week

The County Board, Camanche and Clinton City Councils and DeWitt School meet this week on the tentative schedule of governmental meetings.

The Clinton County Board has their regular Monday morning business meeting. That session will start at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

The Fulton City Council meets on Monday evening.

Mayor Larry Russell is scheduled to issue a statement about the criminal charges against him that were dismissed and remaining claims.  The incident involves boat rental refund paid to the mayor.

The Fulton Council is also expected to get an update from the developer of some new housing a the former J-T Cullen site.  Police chief Jim Rhoades is asking for an additional officer and that will be a discussed at the meeting.

The Clinton City Council meets on Tuesday evening.

The council is scheduled to hold two closed sessions concerning property.  One session is for consideration of the sale of property and one for the purchase of property.

The agenda for the regular Committee Of The Whole session does not contain any items for discussion.

The Camanche City Council will be meeting in a special session on Tuesday evening.  The lone item on the agenda is a closed session to discuss employment matters.  No other details are included in the agenda.

The DeWitt Central School Board meets on Wednesday.  The meeting is at 6 o’clock at the Middle School Media Center.
