Warmer than usual weather continues

The Clinton area tied for the latest ‘hard freeze’ in weather records back to 1891

Clinton area official weather observer Jim Blaess says the temperature dropped to 26 on Saturday to classify as a hard freeze.

He says that tied with November 12th of 1946 for the latest hard freeze in the area.

 

On Sunday, Blaess says it dropped to 28 degrees.

Even with those two days of below freezing temperature Blaess says the overall temperature for the first 13 days of November is about 53 (53.1) degrees  which is about 13 degrees above normal (39.5).

The Clinton area weather observer says the average high for today is 50 and the average low is 32.
