The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted the U-S Marshall’s Service in an arrest of a suspect wanted in connection to a murder in Mississippi.
32 year old Billy Lee Kennedy was taken into custody on the arrest warrant at 509 Hurst Street in Delmar. The arrest was made without incident.
Kennedy is accused of First Degree Murder/ Homicide Willful Injury out of Columbus, Mississippi
He is currently being held in the Clinton County Jail pending extradition. There is no bond.
