There are several governmental entities meeting this week including the Clinton County Board, Camanche School Board, Riverbend School Board, Clinton City Council, Camanche City Council, Central DeWitt and Northeast School Board.The Clinton County Board has a regular session this morning (Monday).
The Supervisors will consider a development agreement with Clinton Catalyst for the former Ashford Campus.
The County Board will also consider a closed session concerning a legal action. Action is possible with a resolution included in the agenda to settle a legal claim against the county.
The County Board meeting is at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

The Camanche School Board meets Monday evening in a regular session. That meeting is at 7:30 at the Camanche School’s Administrative Center.

The Riverbend School Board meets Monday evening in a regular session.
There will be a public hearing on the tax levy for the district and possible action to approve the levy

The Clinton City Council will be involved a couple of meetings on Tuesday morning.
The council will hold the final meeting of the year on the 19th at 9:30 A-M. There are just a few items on the agenda for consideration.

At 10 A-M – the council members elected at the November election will be sworn into office.

At 10:45 the City Conference Board will meet to consider hiring a new City Assessor.
The Board is made up representatives from the city, county and school board.
City Assessor John Moreland is retiring and by law the Conference Board appointed a panel to review applicants and bring a recommendation for a city assessor to the conference board.
The Camanche City Council has a business session on Tuesday at 6 P-M at City Hall.
Members elected in the vote in November will be sworn into office.

On Wednesday the Central DeWitt School Board will meet. The regular session starts at 6 P-M at the Middle School Media Center.

The Northeast School is also meeting on Wednesday evening at 6 o’clock at the Northeast Elementary Library.
