The Fulton City Council has a meeting on Monday evening. The issue of the Drives Building is on the agenda again. The council has considering demolishing the building or selling it. There is a local group that had submitted a bid earlier to purchase the building. But it was declined and council on a split vote started to move ahead to tear down the building. On the agenda for the meeting is action to authorize advertising the sale of the building. The council may also consider an override of the Mayor’s veto of expanding the number of liquor licenses.
