The tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week included the Clinton County Board, Clinton School Board, Central DeWitt School Board, Fulton City Council and Clinton City Council. (links to the agendas for the meetings included)

The Clinton County Board has a regular Monday morning session. Among the items on the agenda is an update on f the Law Enforcement Center project. The Supervisors will also consider backing a grant application to address youth e-cigarette and vaping
That meeting is at 9:30 Monday at the County Administration Building.

The Clinton School Board meets Monday in a Committee Of The Whole session. The board will hear an update on the transitional kindergarten program and the employee handbooks.
The board is also scheduled for a closed session for the evaluation of the work of Superintendent Gary DeLacy.
The meeting is at 5:30 at the district administrative center.

The Central School Board is meeting Monday in a business session. The board will set a public hearing on the proposed budget for the next fiscal year. The budget reflects a slight decline in the tax rate. Monday’s meeting is at 6 pm at the Middle School Media Center.

The Fulton City Council is meeting in a regular business session and committee of the whole session on Monday at 5:30 at the Fulton City Hall.

The Clinton City Council will be meeting Tuesday in a regular business session and discussion session on Tuesday.
The council will consider the first reading of an ordinance updating rules for salvage or scrap yards. During the committee of the whole session the council will hear an engineering report that the structure at 317-to 327 South Second Street is not safe. The council had raised questions on whether the building-the former Strand Theater-could be saved instead of demolished.
The council will also consider changing the standard meeting time of 7 p-m.
The meeting will start at 7 o’clock Tuesday evening.
