Temporary Clinton County Courthouse Moves Are Ready

Plans are being finalized for the temporary move of the Clinton County Courthouse operations to the Administration Building during renovations at the Courthouse.  The work at the Courthouse is related to the connection to the new Clinton County Law Center.  The courthouse work could have taken 7 or 8 weeks if done while the offices remained open.  With the move the timeline is projected to be 3 weeks.

County official say some work has started on the move and more will be done this week.  Some IT work and final preparations are planned over the weekend with the work also including a potential jury trial next week.

County Board Chair Dan Srp credited the work and cooperation of the county employees for this effort.

With April 29th the day the Courthouse offices will be opening at the Administration Center the board did adjust their regular meeting to 10AM on Monday.
